Our sincere thanks to the community for your inspiring support of the second annual Arts Month initiative! New partners and great press across the Pikes Peak region carried our call to “have one new cultural experience with friends or family during the month of October.” Our evaluation of this year’s program has revealed exciting growth and solid traction in just our first two years . For example, we saw a 20% increase in new users to PeakRadar.com during Arts Month. You can see more outcomes in the report link below. We’re learning from our findings and are already inspired about Arts Month 2016 and beyond!

Cooperative Advertising
Thanks to a great media partnership with the Colorado Springs Independent (The “Indy”), COPPeR was able to secure discounted cooperative ad rates during October to create full-page spreads for each of the “themed” weeks during Arts Month. All the revenue from these cooperative ad sales (almost $8,500) was redirected right back into other Arts Month promotions. PLUS, thanks to the Indy’s generosity, we also received–at no additional cost–the same multi-page, weekly insertions in the Colorado Springs Business Journal and three local military papers!
Thank you to incredible staff of The Indy and to our cooperative advertisers: Bee Vradenburg Foundation, Bella Art & Frame, Colorado Springs Film Commission, Colorado Springs Conservatory / The Mezzanine, Colorado Springs CVB, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Colorado Springs Downtown Partnership, Hooked on Books, IDEA Space, Imagination Celebration, Ormao Dance Company, Pikes Peak Arts Council, Pikes Peak Poet Laureate Project, Soiree, The Tiemens Foundation, THEATREWORKS, Tin Roof Productions, UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art (GOCA).
